Bond Hill’s Little Library is the Perfect Autumn Diversion
Cincinnati boasts a world-class library system but the little libraries scattered throughout the city offer something different; a casual and authentically delightful take-a-book, leave-a-book chance for readers of all ages to encounter literature spontaneously. If you haven’t stopped by the Bond Hill Elementary Little Library at the corner of California Avenue and Matlock Avenue, you should. There is a diversity of books and a convenient bench surrounded by mounding and fragrant Russian sage. It’s a perfect place o enjoy the waning warm days of the year. The Little Library is a project of the Bond Hill based arts organization Learning Through Art, led by Kathy Wade. Borrowing from The Little Library is free with no fees, no fines — and you don’t even need a library card.
